1.With just the parking mode on. the cam will activate and automatically start recording about 30 seconds locked video once detecting external force and then turn off to prevent running out of power of the battery.

2.With the loop recording on. the newest video will automatically overwrite the oldest one when the SD card meets its maximum capacity. However. the locked videos won’t be overwritten. We do suggest you format the SD card weekly to prevent too many locked videos from taking up space.

3.With the Motion detection on. the cam will automatically start recording about 10s when there is a movement in front of the lens. However. motion detection only functions when the camera is on stand-by mode(the cam is on but not recording). Therefore. you may need to connect the cam to your car battery or fuse box via a hard wire kit(not included) if you would like the cam to work while parked.

4.After a while the screen shuts off during recording. which is for energy saving while the cam is still recording. If you want to keep the screen stay on when recording. please enter the setting mode and turn off the ‘screen saver” setting.
