Generac 30A Aluminum Power Inlet Box is used for generator transfer switch installations where the transfer switch or load center is indoors and you wish to avoid running the generator cord through a window or door. Mount this power inlet box the exterior of the house or building and run wiring through the wall over to the transfer switch installation allowing the generator cord from the generator to be plugged into the power inlet box. 30A power inlet box works with generators between 5500W and 9000W. It is housed in a NEMA 3R. rated aluminum. type 5052 enclosure includes 30A. 120/240V male inlet in NEMA configuration L14-30 on bottom. Maintains rain tight rating when cord is connected. Required by most inspectors. UL listed.
