Battery Status
There is an LED green light that will turn on when the charger is plugged in. There is also an LED red light that will turn on if the charger is connected incorrectly or if a short circuit is detected. When the battery is connected correctly. the LCD panel will display the battery voltage indicator. The charging symbol will flash as the battery is charging. When the battery is fully charged. the charging symbol will disappear. The battery bar will also flash as the battery is charging. and the bars will increase as the charge of state increases. When the battery is fully charged. the battery bar will stop flashing. and the four battery bars will remain on the LCD display

Charging Modes
This battery charger does not have the modes that you have asked about. However it is able to charge different types of lithium batteries: The default mode is set to charge a lithium-ion (Li-ion) or a lithium polymer (LiPo) battery. the Li-ion text will show on the LCD display. Press the MODE button to change the mode to charge a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery. the Li-Fetext will show on the LCD display.
