RD901 truck obd2 scanner does not need to be updated once you receive it since it is already a newest version for you.
For some private protocols like from FUSO and VOLVO. your vehicles may not allow you to do reset functions like DPF with tools like RD901. Please let us know if you find your RD901 says cannot communicate. and we will be happy to assist.
